Brothers and sisters, before Bapak gives you a talk, Bapak would first of all like to welcome you and say hello to you all because it is now four years since Bapak has set foot in England and visited the city of London. And Bapak does not forget to say thank you very much to all of you for the welcome that you have given Bapak which Bapak has found most moving. Bapak hopes that you will always have this attitude and that it will not be something that passes with time, and Bapak prays that Almighty God will give you His blessing that whatever you do you may carry out in the best possible way.
Brothers and sisters, Bapak has often explained to you about the nature and the purpose of the latihan kejiwaan of Subud, or Susila Budhi Dharma, but Bapak feels there is nothing wrong if Bapak still continues to repeat once again his explanations about the latihan kejiwaan so that you can have a deeper awareness of its nature and purpose.
As Bapak has frequently said before, the latihan kejiwaan is not something that we obtain as a result of making efforts, but is a grace from God Almighty that is a very high and noble gift, which is given to man in accordance with the process of the present times.
The latihan kejiwaan is first of all the awakening of the human jiwa according to the will of God Almighty, and second it is the awakening of human culture and human expertise or human know-how in the field of living in this world and fulfilling the needs of life in this world. So this latihan which you receive is the worship of mankind towards God Almighty. It is not only the worship of mankind as a whole, but is the worship of each one of you to God Almighty which uncovers or makes evident the nature of your own nationalities and opens up the nature of each one of you individually as representatives of different races for man in the world.
Subud cannot be called a religion because in Subud, as a result of our worship of Almighty God, there is awakened within us every kind of culture that exists in the world, in the different corners of the earth. This is something that we ourselves, each one of us, have experienced whenever we have done the latihan kejiwaan, in that we are made to move and we are guided into a behavior which is in accordance with our own individual national characteristics. So for example, if we happen to be Javanese, then we are guided to movements which resemble a form of dancing or culture which exists in the island of Java.
Similarly, if we happen to be English, of English origin, we will be guided to move and to dance and into various expressions, various forms of culture which are in accordance with our own nature as English people. The same is true of all other nationalities. In addition to this awakening of culture we also are guided by God Almighty into the realm of worship, in other words, God guides us to worship Him, not with some way or some method or some theory or some laid down rules, but in accordance with our own ability and our own nature.
So it is clear that not only are we guided in our worship of God Almighty, but that God also guides every nation in accordance with its own culture, both that which has manifested in the past, and also that which is still hidden and has not appeared yet.
It is because of this nature of the latihan kejiwaan that when you receive the latihan you don't feel foreign or strange to what you receive, because what you receive is in accordance with your own inner nature and your own background and your origin. It is necessary for Bapak to emphasize this because some of you still misunderstand and imagine that in Subud Bapak is taking you towards a religion, or taking you in the direction of the religion of Islam for example.
This is completely untrue because if Bapak were to encourage you in the direction of the religion of Islam, you certainly wouldn't want to follow because it would mean that Bapak is forcing you to abandon whatever religion you had before, which you used to practice in the past. If you were entering Islam you would then have to abandon completely whatever religion you used to have, and certainly this is not something you would want to do. So there is certainly no element at all of this, although some people still imagine it to be so.
If it happens that Bapak gives a talk and he uses terminology which exists in Islam, this is simply because Bapak himself happens to be a Muslim and what Bapak can use is the terminology of Islam. Similarly, if Bapak happened to be a Buddhist or of some other religion, then Bapak would presumably use the terminology of Buddhism or whatever it is that he was familiar with. But when we receive the latihan kejiwaan, then we simply receive according to that which arises within us, and the origin of that which arises within us is what is called in Islam the zat Allah, that is the essence of God Almighty. This essence of God Almighty is all-powerful and all-embracing, and embraces the whole universe that was created by God Almighty. It is this power which guides us in the latihan kejiwaan, so that when we receive the latihan kejiwaan we are moved by a power which embraces the whole world, and that is why this power guides us in accordance with our own origin, and in accordance with our own nature.
Now why is it then that so many people in the latihan, for example, are heard to say, Allah, Allah, Allah, which should, of course, be Allah, Allah, according to the correct pronunciation. This does not come from the will of man. If someone expresses something like this in the latihan kejiwaan it doesn't come from their own will but is the will of God. The reason that they are willed at that moment to express themselves in this way is because it is the will of God that their jiwa be brought close to Islam, and this does not at all mean the religion of Muhammad, because Islam means purity, holiness, facing Almighty God and surrender to Almighty God. So it is clear that Islam is not the religion of the prophet Muhammad, it didn't start with prophet Muhammad, Islam existed long before the prophet Muhammad was ever thought of.
It is said that the prophet Abraham who also taught a religion to his followers, practiced the religion of Islam, and the meaning of Islam, again, is simply holiness, facing towards God Almighty, and surrendering towards God Almighty; that is the meaning of Islam. And this religion is not something that originated with the prophet Muhammad.
So it is clear, brothers and sisters, that it is necessary for Bapak to explain this to you in order to make quite sure. There are still those among you who misunderstand and imagine that Bapak is trying to take you in the direction of Islam, or the Muslim religion. Bapak is not trying to take anybody in any direction, because Bapak is nothing more than a channel, and Bapak himself has nothing to say to anyone. Bapak is like a channel, like a TV channel. If you turn on the TV and there is nobody transmitting anything, then no matter how often you turn on the TV and twiddle the knobs, nothing will come out on the screen. It is only when there is something being transmitted from over there that you can see a picture. Then when you turn on the picture, the sound will come out.
It is exactly the same with Bapak. What Bapak speaks is simply what is willed by God Almighty, so Bapak does not bring anything to it from himself. Bapak is simply the channel for what God wills. Not only Bapak, but the helpers are in exactly the same situation, and this is why Bapak always encourages the helpers that when they open somebody, let us say this is the one doing the opening, and this is the one being opened, the person doing the opening must not direct their attention to the person being opened, but to Almighty God, and then Almighty God opens the one who is being opened. So then if there is something wrong with the one being opened, if the one being opened commits some mistake, then there is no sin attached to the one doing the opening because the mistake of this person is towards God, not towards the one doing the opening.
This is something very important which Bapak always emphasizes to you, and this includes Bapak himself. Bapak himself, as a helper, when Bapak opens all of you Bapak does not direct his attention towards you, but simply to God Almighty. So then it is God Almighty who does the opening, and if you then do something wrong, or commit some sin, Bapak has no responsibility for that. Your sin is towards God, and Bapak is no longer responsible for your actions because it is something between yourself and God Almighty.
Now it was necessary for Bapak to explain this to you very clearly lest some of you still have a wrong understanding about these things. But don't, however, get the feeling that because there are these sort of misunderstandings, Bapak is upset or Bapak is offended with you. On the contrary, Bapak does not mind, nor is Bapak surprised at this because Bapak knows very well that there is no man who can be free of sin. There is no such thing as a man who does not sin. All men are tainted with sin, and similarly also, all men have truth and rightness within them. The reason for this is that God has equipped man with all sorts of accessories or helpers in this world which strengthen man's being or man's ability to stand on his own feet in this world, but they are also a barrier or an obstacle for a man in following the right way, or in following the will of God.
And this is something that Bapak would like to explain to you further now, so that you will be able to understand the question: Why is it that we cannot seem to get free of our impurities and our sinful nature or the obstacles which we meet in following the will of God?
A human being is the top being in this world, or the most excellent, the most noble being in this world, for he is the one who, of all the beings on earth, can do more in this world than any other living being. So he is the one who is supposed to rule this earth, and he in turn, in order to be able to stand in this world, and to be the noble being he is, is provided by God Almighty with a nature that can be compared to a great house, a house with many inhabitants which man needs in order to be able to live in this world and without which, if he didn't have them, he would not be able to live.
The first group of these, the one that is the most important for man's life in this world, is what is called the material forces, or if you call it by its name according to the spiritual teaching, the roh raiwani. Man needs these material forces very much because without them you would not be able to have a house to live in; you would not be able to have clothes to wear; you would not be able to come here to meet Bapak; you would be completely incapable of living in this world. For it is this material force that enables you to get whatever you need, and also it is this material force which is a very great obstacle to man in his worship of Almighty God. But without it man cannot live in his world and also not worship Almighty God, because if you have no money at all, would you be able then to really surrender and worship God with patience, trust and submission? It is not possible, because someone who feels deprived, someone who is suffering and feels very sad, is not able to surrender and have a feeling of patience and trust in God Almighty.
So man really needs the wherewithal, the material force, in order to be able to be complete in this world, and also in order to have the basis on which to worship Almighty God. So although the material forces are an obstacle to man in his worship, yet also man needs them to be able to live in this world, and without them he is lost.
And that is not the only force that man needs in order to be able to live in this world. In addition to the material force there is the vegetable force, or the roh nabadi. Without this vegetable force man cannot have a body at all. Without, for example, wheat and bread and all kinds of vegetable foods, man would have no flesh, no blood, no bones, his whole form that we recognize as the human form could not exist, so he could not live at all in this world.
In addition to that there is yet another force, and that is the animal force. Without eating the flesh of animals man would have no will to work, would have no initiative, he would be passive like a dead thing, like a stone. So, again, man could not really live in this world without animal foods, or without the help of the animal forces.
Above that again is still another temptation and also accessory for man, another instrument for his life in this world, these are the human forces. These human forces are, let us say, the number one temptation, or the number one disturbance for man in this world. The reason why man is influenced by human forces is not because man eats man, because when man eats man he eats, as it were, a human animal. No, the way man is influenced or tempted by the human forces is if he is a man, through woman, and if she is a woman, through man. This force is, as Bapak said, the number one or the most important temptation or disturbance in the life of man. Man's loss of power, authority and prestige come through a woman, but also the greatness of man's authority and prestige also come through a woman. So both sides of this can be seen.
Above the human forces there is still another, higher force which plays a part in the life of man, but this, rather than disturbing man or pulling man down, has the effect of raising man up and is called the rohani force. Then above that there are others still, but it's not necessary for Bapak to talk about these because if Bapak talks about forces that are higher than this, then it will only be a kind of picture in your mind which will in no way help you in your worship of Almighty God and in your progress along the path of the kejiwaan.
And it is because of the persistence and the greatness of the temptation of the human forces that priests, of every kind of religion, generally shy away from marriage or from relationships with the opposite sex, because they are afraid of the power of the temptation of the human forces. So it is clear that it is very difficult, or even completely impossible, for man to free himself from the temptation and the influence of the lower forces which exist within him and have been placed there by God Almighty. The reason for this is that within his being the material forces, for example, also use man's senses and man's instruments. That is, man himself has to share his senses and his heart and mind with the lower forces which are inhabitants within his being.
For example, suppose that you are planning or designing a motor car. You think about this car, you try to make it as fast and convenient as possible so that this invention will be needed by man and it will make you rich, important and successful when you have been able to manufacture it and sell it. Imagine how satisfied and happy Henry Ford must have been when his plans were successful, that the car he had planned and built was able to make him rich and famous. So it is clear that it is through the heart and mind that the material forces can be shaped, and that it is through the heart and mind that man has to produce some kind of material result.
Men have invented, also through the use of their heart and mind, which is shared by the material forces, all sorts of material things from nuclear weapons down to small things like guns and pistols, all of which have the effect of endangering man's life on this earth, of being a threat to peace among men.
So it is clear that the material forces exist within man's heart and man's mind, and they are also a temptation which makes it hard for man to worship God Almighty. For this reason, in order to try to get free of the material forces, men have tried to go away from the world, they have tried to go to a lonely spot and put aside every kind of wealth or comfort. But it is not possible for them to put aside the material forces which they carry within their own bodies, for it is clear that when man dies there is left a material object that is the skeleton. This skeleton is something that is within our own beings and is itself a material thing.
So wherever we go we take these lower forces with us; not only the material forces, but all the forces. And we cannot become free of these forces until the moment comes for us to leave this world. The only way for man to be able to become free of them at the end of his life here is by trying to get close to the power of God Almighty that created him. It is with this purpose that men have always left society and separated themselves in places which are empty and lonely, and practiced asceticism and tried to abandon every connection with this world. In other words, to put aside every kind of nafsu because the way that we can get close to God is only by putting aside all the nafsu, that is, the temptation of the lower forces within our being.
And then, after practicing asceticism, and practicing and training themselves to always put aside completely their nafsu, if it was God's will, they were able to receive the vibration of life within themselves which comes from a source that is not from their own will, but from the power of God, that thing which always exists on the right and left, and in front of us and behind us, and above us and beneath us, and within ourselves and within our own nafsu. So that after putting aside all the nafsu, we are able to feel this power of God which is within us. And it is this action, it is this movement of the power of God, that we ourselves have now been able to receive, that has come down to mankind and which we have all received in the latihan kejiwaan. You have all experienced that in the latihan kejiwaan we receive something that, when we first feel it, feels completely alien to us because it is something that is not familiar to the heart and mind and to the nafsu within us, but is something which appears beyond our own will and is, indeed, the guidance of Almighty God.
Bapak is not trying to say that we are the chosen people of God, or that we are God's special favorites, but the evidence is there, that we have been treated by God in this way because God has given us the vibration of life within us, that is free from the influence of the nafsu. And it is through our complete surrender at the moment when we receive the latihan kejiwaan that we can experience the paralysis of our nafsu. Because it is through the action of this life force which we feel as the vibration of life in the latihan, that the nafsu then, automatically, have to recognize the greatness of man, because at that moment they have to submit to the greatness of man as the highest creature on this earth, through the experience, or through the power of God Almighty which acts within us.
And that is why Bapak always advises us that when we worship God Almighty we should simply surrender utterly to God Almighty in order to be able to receive the guidance of His power. This experience of man himself as the highest being in this world, to which the lower forces submit, is in accordance with that which was written in the holy books and with that which was taught by the messengers of God in the past.
The latihan kejiwaan is indeed something that cannot be grasped by the mind or the understanding of man. There are many people, not only here in England, but also in Indonesia, who want to know very much: 'What is really the latihan kejiwaan, what is behind it, what is its real nature?', but they are still afraid of joining Subud, they still do not want to be opened, so they cannot, as a result of that, grasp the understanding of what the latihan is, and it always escapes them.
Indeed, the latihan cannot be grasped by the understanding or the intelligence of man, but it has always been stated by the prophets and in the holy books that if there is something which cannot be grasped by the mind of man, which is beyond the reach of man, then that is the thing that comes from God. And indeed, this is the experience of each one of you, that when you receive the latihan, it arises out of nothingness, it arises out of stillness, out of emptiness, and it comes by itself; it can only come when you make no effort with your mind or your heart. If you doubt this, then look back through history. Where did the prophet Abraham study? Where did the prophet Moses study? Where did Jesus Christ go to school? Where did the prophet Mohammed go to school? They were all people without any learning or schooling and yet they were wise people, wise beyond what is usual for man.
Or if you like to take the example of Bapak, you may ask yourselves, 'Where does Bapak get his understanding from?' If you want to know, Bapak's understanding is given by God Almighty to Bapak, and arises by itself within Bapak's understanding. So Bapak demonstrated this in a very simple way. As Bapak said in our case we are all still at the first stage of the latihan kejiwaan, or only a little beyond the first stage, so Bapak wanted to show us in a very simple way. First Bapak showed when Bapak walks in a normal way, that is, Bapak walks with his mind or with his intention, and the second time Bapak is walked by the power of God. You are maybe surprised at how Bapak can walk like that. This is only in relation to walking ( laughter ).
( Bapak then demonstrated smiling. ) Bapak will smile in the ordinary way ( laughter from audience ). Now Bapak is made to smile at all of you by the power of God ( throaty chuckle from Bapak, laughter from audience ). It looks different and Bapak's smile is friendly and brotherly towards all of you. But if Bapak smiles at you as a man, as Bapak the man, it is the smile of an Indonesian smiling at a lot of foreigners ( laughter from audience ). So this is just on a very low level or the first level. And do you imagine that the guidance of God Almighty only concerns these sorts of things? Not at all, the guidance of God goes within our feeling, even to our thinking, so that later, when we are able to receive it, our thinking, no matter in what direction it goes, will always be followed, shadowed by the power of God, so that our thinking will not be sinful, or go in a direction that is sinful or wrong.
The tendency of the latihan kejiwaan is always to unite mankind, unite men and women of different nations and different religions, and it is only Almighty God who can do this, for it is clear then that what separates religions from one another, and nations from one another, is the nafsu. Because those who practice religion nowadays are largely motivated by the nafsu, how can they ever achieve the uniting of all the religions of mankind? It is completely impossible. This uniting of mankind, of the different religions and the different nations of mankind, can only be achieved by God Almighty or, as we say in Islam, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So it is clear that the responsibility for the progress, or lack of it, in the latihan kejiwaan, rests with each one of you yourselves and no one else, and depends upon the extent to which you put into practice or carry out that which you receive in the latihan kejiwaan.
Bapak feels sure that you all already don't have any prejudice with each other, but you may think to yourself 'Is A honest, or is B lying, or is C dishonest, or is D no good, or is F good or not,' because you have already been able to receive enough so that that which is within you is already united, or one. But with many of you, Bapak feels that you have not understood the purpose of that which Bapak talks to you, or gives you a talk about. Bapak's purpose is that you should put into practice that which Bapak is saying to you, that you should make use of it and actually do it. With some of you this is the case, but with many of you, it's not like that yet. You feel that it's enough just to listen and then go on as before.
Now to some extent at this point Bapak wants to change this custom or habit of yours, in that Bapak no longer gives just plain talks, but Bapak always gives talks and testing. The reason why Bapak laces his talks with testing is that you perhaps, Bapak hopes, can feel more clearly for yourselves what it is that Bapak is trying to say to you all, so that you can really feel it for yourselves and put it into practice, so that you can feel more what Bapak has been trying to tell you and you will not continue as before, which is that you just listen to Bapak's talks as if they were empty words, and then come back to Bapak with all sorts of questions which go on without end, like for example, 'When we fast, is this going to bring Islam into our chests when we are not Muslim?' or strange questions like this which Bapak has already answered. But for those who are still asking these questions, Bapak will answer again.
The fast in the month of Ramadhan is something that is required for Muslims, and those people who are not Muslims are not required to do it unless they feel the need to do it because they have felt some benefit from it. So those who do not feel the benefit of it are not required to do it, except if they are Muslims, but for those people who already feel some benefit from it, they may do so if they wish.
If you feel whether to do Ramadhan or not, it is not important, because what you have received in this latihan is in fact the result of having done the fast of Ramadhan. In other words, you have already received in the latihan the purpose of the fast of Ramadhan.
So Bapak wants to know the sign, first of all the sign if you have money or not, if you possess money or not. If you are a man, of course, if you have money, the sign of it is that your pockets feel full. If you are a woman, if you have money, it feels like your handbag is full, but if you happen to have no money, your handbag feels kind of soft and empty, and if you are a man your pockets feel light and empty. So now Bapak wants you to feel, or to receive, 'Your pockets are rather slim and flat.'
( Testing )
You have informed Bapak, through this test, that you do not have much money because, in fact, this is a period when people don't have much money.
( Bapak tests on our laughter )
You have shown that, in fact, many of you are in a state of sadness or suffering at the moment, so much of your laughter is put on. Now in case you want to know what is a real laugh and what is a put on laugh, laugh a real laugh which is truly happy ( laughter ). This is a kind of anti-sleeping pill ( laughter ).
Now Bapak would like to continue with explaining how it is possible for us to avoid the temptation of the lower forces. It is clear that we are able to do the latihan kejiwaan only because we have received the grace from Almighty God, we have received the guidance of Almighty God and his power within ourselves. For this reason we should not feel nervous, or worried, or have doubts or anxieties but we can simply surrender to Almighty God everything that is within us when we worship Him, because it is only God who can teach us, can show us the way to get free of the influence of the lower forces, and to put right anything that is wrong with us, or to guide us into the right way or the way that we need for ourselves. It is only God who can do it. So all we need to do is to surrender completely to Him and His power.
Now, in order to achieve something in this life, in order to be able to do something that is necessary for us, and that we need to perfect our life in this world, it is necessary for us to do something which is in the sphere of the heart and the mind or the intelligence of man. It is this sphere which Bapak refers to as enterprises, and in the field of enterprises we are not limited to just one kind of business, or one kind of undertaking, let us say, only industry, or only in this or that field, but the word enterprise that Bapak uses, embraces every possible field of human activity, whether it is, for example, the field of medicine or doctors, experts in talking, that is lawyers, experts in writing or writers, painters, all these fields of human activity and every kind of human activity is a sphere for what Bapak calls enterprises.
And in this enterprise it is possible for us, since we are guided by the power of Almighty God, since the power of Almighty God is within us and is able to guide our actions, both in this world and in the next and in our everyday life, so it is possible for us, let us say supposing we are doctors, to be guided in our work so that, for example, normally a doctor can only make a diagnosis based on what he has learned in school or from reading books, but through the latihan kejiwaan it is possible, if a doctor meets with a situation which is beyond his knowledge, which is beyond his understanding and his experience, yet, at that moment, he can be guided by the power of God, and he can be given an understanding which is beyond that which is normally possible for him, and this is called 'inspiration'.
And the same is true in the case of a lawyer. Supposing a lawyer comes up against a situation with which he is not familiar, where his background does not give him the necessary understanding. At that moment the power of God can guide him to an understanding which is true, for example, in the field of teaching. Supposing you have a teacher who is doing the latihan, he will be able to guide his children, the children he teaches, into a sphere which is right for them, in other words, he will be able to direct each child into the correct field of work, so that in his class or in his school there will be no children who turn out useless, or without a useful role in society. In the case of an architect, if in his work he is guided by the power of God Almighty, he will be able to conceive a building frame, or a building type, which is new and really impressive to society and will be admired by people in society in general.
And if we are in the field of business or trade, then we will find a way to market whatever we are trying to sell. We will be guided by God to find markets for whatever we are trading in. So it will not happen, for example, that we make things, we manufacture things which cannot be sold, so that we go on manufacturing and manufacturing things which are useless and cannot be sold, so that not only do they waste our time, but they take up useful storage space.
So it's clear that Bapak means by enterprises every field of human work, every field of human endeavor that exists, can be included in the sphere of enterprises. And human work is something that is a duty or part of man's life, for work is the symbol of life. When there is life there cannot be any absence of work, for not only does man work, but God himself also works, for if God did not work the whole universe would cease to exist. Therefore it is not possible to say that there is one second when God does not work, for God works all the time, continuously, and there is no time when God does not work. If God works like that, how much more must man also work, and indeed, actually while we are alive, our work never stops, for although we may say that when we are at the office we work and then when we take a break we stop working, actually during our tea break our thinking is still very busy, so in fact our working goes on all our lives until the moment when we die. So a lack of work, or when we do not work, is a time when we are dead.
Bapak wants to explain this to you because it is very important for us to realize that the field of enterprises is extremely important and is actually part of our lives. So besides worshipping God, and surrendering to God in our latihan kejiwaan, in parallel with that we have our work in this world in the sphere of enterprises. And this is the reason why although Bapak at his age. you may think it is strange that he still thinks about work and enterprises, yet Bapak has himself taken the trouble to set up, first of all, a world bank, whose purpose is to be able to finance projects and entrepreneurs all over the world, and not only those in Subud, but also those outside Subud, and beyond that Bapak has also set up recently a kind of international enterprise or corporation whose sphere is to promote international trade between Subud countries, so that through international trade it will be possible to share the benefits of enterprises. In other words members outside of England, through trade, will be able to share in the benefits of the enterprises in England, while those in England will be able to share in the benefits of the enterprises of Subud members abroad, through international trade.
So what Bapak sees is that if there are still obstacles in our way to the correct working of the international bank, the world bank that we have set up, it will be assisted and made easier, or more complete, or may be able to proceed more quickly forward, as a result of the setting up of this international corporation. And this is to express outwardly in our work that which we receive inwardly in the latihan kejiwaan, because we have received in the latihan kejiwaan that we are not just isolated into separate nations, the evidence is here with us tonight that there are here among you, not only English people, but French people, Vietnamese people, Indonesian people, and this shows that we are one brotherhood, and what we share inwardly, that is the latihan kejiwaan, we must also be able to share outwardly; the fruits of our work and our enterprises.
It is only through the execution of enterprises, and the setting up of enterprises, that we will be able to put into practice and to achieve the aims and objects which we have adopted in our brotherhood, as an international brotherhood consisting of all nations of the world and all races of the world. That is, to be able to put up something that is in the nature of a humanitarian undertaking: starting hospitals and clinics; schools for emotionally disturbed and retarded children; old people's homes, various kinds of schools and all sorts of charitable enterprises, in addition to providing fields of work for Subud members who do not yet have any work, or who have not yet found their right way of work.
All these things are the aims and objects of our brotherhood, in accordance with God's will, that man should more or less be able to organize for himself a state of peace, harmony and welfare and prosperity in this world.
So Bapak prays to Almighty God that we will all receive God's blessing that this which Bapak has just said, we can indeed achieve in this world.
And now, because tomorrow morning Bapak has to leave to go to Kenfield to attend the councilors' conference, Bapak will have to leave all of you, except those of you who happen to be councilors. Therefore Bapak would like to finish his talk for tonight and, of course, Bapak will continue with his talks when he returns from Kenfield, not only give you a further talk, but will also assist you in your latihan, that is with what is called latihan and testing, that is when Bapak comes back. So for the time being Bapak wishes to say goodbye to you while Bapak leaves London. And Bapak wishes you good evening, and good rest.
